Thoughts As A Husband…
Posted by Cliff Sr. under: Cliff Sr's Thoughts .
As I think back to the early summer of 2006 I can’t believe how things changed so fast and how my wife has been so strong through this tough season of our lives.
I am grateful to God for his giving wisdom to the doctors who treat her.
I am awed at the people who come by to help us out with the various things that come up like driving her around or cleaning up our house. They are always coming up to ask how they can help and they do so with a deep heartfelt sense of “agape” love that is spoken of in scripture:
9Now concerning brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another, 10for that indeed is what you are doing to all the brothers throughout Macedonia. But we urge you, brothers, to do this more and more.
-1 Thessalonians 4:9-10 (ESV)
In Christ,

Hello Ames family. You may or my not remember me- I roomed with Nadene my senior year of college at Master’s. Ever since she told me about the hardships you have been going through you have been in my prayers, and God has put you on my mind a lot lately. I will continue to pray for you. God bless!

Deb… I just wanted to let you know how much joy we see on your face each and every Sunday. You are a testimony to the truth that real happiness is internal and despite what the world throws at you or the medical profession puts you through…the joy of the Lord is your strength. Please know that many prayers warriors are lifting your tired arms. You are loved!

Dear Mr. Ames, Deborah, Cliff Jr. and Nadene:
Please know that you are in our hearts and in our prayers. I know many have
seen the love of Jesus in you during the past 1 1/2 years. Nadene and Cliff, I
am so proud of the way you are taking care of your Mom- you’ve come a long
ways from the young kids I had the pleasure to call my neighbors and I know
this must bless your mom very much. Please know that the Franklins are here
to serve you. I have already arranged with Judy to bring you dinner and will
discuss with one of you then what else I can do.
Prayerfully yours,
Yoly

Cliff & Family,
I am filled with grief at this moment for Deborah’s passing. I know she is in a better place and no longer has to suffer as she did on this earth. My prayers today are for you Cliff and your family. I pray that you can work thru your grief with God’s help.
Donna and I wish the best for you-stay close to the God and your support at Church.
